Bread of Life USA is part of the global outreach of Bread of Life Ministries International based in the Philippines.
Birthed in 1982 in Quezon City, the Lord used
Rev. Caesar ‘Butch’ L. Conde to start the church amidst national political upheaval and an intense hunger for God among the Filipinos.
For more than thirty years, God has been expanding the work of Bread of Life to reach the Filipinos for the Gospel, believing that only the work of salvation can effect true change in a person’s life.
With a special call to lift up the Filipino race to realize its full potential as a people and nation, Bread of Life has spread throughout the Philippine archipelago and even beyond the country’s borders.
The burden and call to reach the Filipino Diaspora began in 1996, when the church opened its first international outreach in the United States. Led by
Rev. Regina B. Atencio as pastor-in-oversight, the church has four congregations spread in key cities across the United States.
We believe the Bible to be verbally inspired in its entirety, the only foolproof, authoritative Word of God, and the final arbiter for faith and life..
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam’s sin the race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became separated from God; and that man is totally depraved and thus of himself utterly unable to remedy his lost condition.
We believe that, for the salvation of lost and sinful man, rebirth by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
Beginning at Pentecost with Jesus’ first disciples, we believe that the church is a spiritual organism made up of people with an exchange life. We believe in the local churches’ establishment and continuance, the baptism of believers by immersion, the partaking of the Lord’s Supper, and the operation of spiritual gifts.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: that they are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe that we are commissioned to be examples by life and by word to the truths of Scripture and to share the Gospel to all mankind.
