Dear Pinnacle Village,

In light of escalating concerns regarding the COVID19 pandemic, we have decided to cancel our worship gatherings at Pinnacle Village and do one ONLINE gathering at 10am every Sunday until further notice. This way, we are doing our part in helping our society to flatten the curve and curtail the virus.

We would like the church to adhere to the nation’s health concerns by observing “social distancing.” Let us not unnecessarily expose ourselves to the virus, increase our chances of being infected, and aid its spread in our areas.

Our situation now reminds us that the early church did not only gather in temples but also in houses, not only as one huge group but also as many small groups.

Acts 2:46
Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart…

Acts 5:42
And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they kept right on teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.

It is in this light that we are asking us to continue being a church on Sundays by gathering as huddles in our residential areas to worship, listen to the word, fellowship, and enjoy a meal together.

In case you and any of your family are sick or have other concerns and could not meet up with others, please feel free to stay at home and log in as a family at our website: www.breadoflifeusa.org to attend the Sunday gathering. But we do ask everyone to connect with a huddle in their own residential areas. This way, no person or family goes through this season alone.

We know this is an unusual time. But the worst of times is also the best of times.

Ephesians 5:15-17
15 So be very careful how you live. Do not live like those who are not wise, but live wisely. 16 Use every chance you have for doing good, because these are evil times. 17 So do not be foolish but learn what the Lord wants you to do.

May the church continue to be the source of hope and the channel of God’s blessings at this time that many are perplexed and full of fear.

Our most significant opportunities will be found in times of greatest difficulty.” ― Thomas S. Monson

Let us continue to do life and faith together. His grace always abounds!

Maraming salamat po,
